​I currently have two graduate students working in my lab. I'll likely accept one (PhD or MS) student to start August 2025.

• The Disease Ecology lab is located at UNCW's Center for Marine Science (CMS). Read about this amazing facility here. 
• Good advice on getting into grad school can be found here. This is a highly competitive process, and successful candidates tend to 1) get in touch early, usually before February for fall admission, 2) have significant research experience, often in a disease ecology/parasitology lab, 3) write statements of interest that explicitly state why they want to join the Disease Ecology lab and/or what types of questions or study systems interest them, and 4) have stellar letters of recommendation. I generally accept ~one student/year.
